Junior Systems Analyst

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Systems Analyst to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone with approximately 1 year of professional experience who is looking to grow their career in systems analysis and business applications. Experience with Pronto Xi ERP is highly desirable; however, candidates with a basic understanding of ERP systems and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will work closely with business users, technical teams, and external vendors to support, maintain, and improve business systems while ensuring operational efficiency.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

• Provide first and second-level support for business applications and ERP systems.

• Assist in analysing business processes and identifying opportunities for system improvements.

• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements.

• Support the implementation, configuration, testing, and maintenance of business systems.

• Assist in troubleshooting system issues and work with vendors or internal teams to resolve them.

• Create and maintain system documentation, process maps, user guides, and knowledge base articles.

• Perform system testing, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and document test results.

• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and new feature implementations.

• Monitor system performance and assist in maintaining data integrity and security.

• Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and recommend practical solutions.

• Assist with report creation, data extraction, and basic SQL queries where required.

• Provide end-user training and ongoing support for business applications.

• Participate in IT projects and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What are we selecting for:

• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

• Experience supporting ERP or business management systems.

• Understanding of business process mapping and workflow analysis.

• Hands-on experience with Pronto Xi ERP or a basic understanding of its modules and functionality, desirable.

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
