IT Support Officer

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000

Woods & Co Recruitment are proud to be partnering with a well-established Melbourne-based technology and payments organisation that is continuing to grow its footprint across hospitality, gaming, retail and financial services clients. With a strong reputation for customer service and a broad portfolio of proprietary products, the business is now looking to strengthen its internal IT function.

To support this, they are seeking an experienced IT Support Officer to take ownership of the day-to-day administration and improvement of their IT and business systems. This is a hands-on role where you will keep the environment running at peak performance while supporting a wide range of internal users.

What you'll do:

• Provide desktop support and level 1 and 2 IT support via email, remote, phone and in person
• Administer and support Microsoft 365, SCCM, Active Directory, Azure AD, Group Policy and Intune
• Support and administer Salesforce - including helping users build reports and dashboards
• Support VoIP telephony, WiFi, security and CCTV systems alongside preventative maintenance of servers, workstations and network infrastructure
• Onboard new users while managing IT assets and licences and maintaining clear user documentation

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar
• Hands-on Office 365 admin experience across SharePoint, Exchange Online and Teams
• Strong skills in Windows Server and Active Directory with exposure to virtualised environments
• Working knowledge of networking, VoIP telephony and backup and recovery methodologies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide non-technical users through complex issues, backed by ITIL qualifications or experience (Salesforce Administrator certificate preferred)
