A 6-month hybrid contract role in Dallas for an IT Support / Junior Systems Administrator: day-to-day end-user support and troubleshooting in a Windows environment, plus administering Google Workspace, Slack and Notion, identity and access management, onboarding/offboarding, asset tracking, and documentation.
$40 - $50 A growing organization is currently looking to hire an IT Support / Junior Systems Administrator for a hybrid contract engagement. The role is centered on end-user support, workplace technology administration, identity and access management, and daily IT operations within a Windows-focused environment. This position will provide technical support to both in-office and remote employees while assisting with the administration of Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, endpoint devices, and user access workflows. The contractor will contribute to onboarding and offboarding processes, technical issue resolution, asset tracking, process documentation, and security-related operational activities while gaining broader exposure to systems administration, endpoint management, networking, and infrastructure support. Contract Duration: 6 months **Required Skills & Experience** + 1-2 years of IT support, Help Desk, or junior systems administration experience + Hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops + Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, peripheral, and connectivity issues + Experience administering or supporting Google Workspace environments + Knowledge of Slack and Notion administration fundamentals + Understanding of identity and access management concepts including provisioning, MFA, least privilege, and access controls + Strong customer service, communication, and user support skills + Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation + Experience supporting employee onboarding and offboarding processes + Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities **Desired Skills & Experience** + Experience supporting macOS devices + Basic Linux administration knowledge + Experience with PowerShell, Bash, or Google Apps Script + Exposure to Intune, Jamf, or other endpoint management platforms + Understanding of Wi-Fi, VPN, and foundational networking concepts + Experience with backup validation and disaster recovery activities + Exposure to SSO, conditional access, or privileged access management solutions + Experience evaluating or deploying productivity and security tools **What You Will Be Doing** Tech Breakdown + 40% IT Support & Endpoint Administration + 30% Google Workspace, Slack & Notion Administration + 20% Identity & Access Management + 10% Security, Networking & Infrastructure Support **Daily Responsibilities** + 60% End User Support & Troubleshooting + 20% System Administration & User Management + 10% Documentation, Asset Management & Process Maintenance + 10% Security Operations, Monitoring & Infrastructure Support Motion Recruitment Partners (MRP) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
