This role is ideal for a designer who is passionate about creating engaging, visually compelling digital experiences and has strong expertise in website design, landing pages, user-centered layouts, and digital marketing assets. The ideal candidate is highly proficient in Figma and experienced in translating business and marketing objectives into effective website wireframes, page designs, user flows, and polished digital experiences that can be handed off to developers for implementation.
While web design is the primary focus of this position, the role also supports broader graphic design initiatives, including print collateral, presentations, campaign materials, signage, advertising, and other marketing communications. The successful candidate understands UX/UI best practices but is not exclusively focused on application or product design. Instead, they bring a balanced skill set that combines web design expertise, user experience thinking, and strong visual communication capabilities.
The ideal candidate understands how modern websites are designed and built, with experience creating designs intended for implementation in platforms such as WordPress and Elementor. While this is not a development role, familiarity with platform capabilities, responsive frameworks, and content management systems helps create more effective, practical, and scalable web experiences.
This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Communications, and Development teams to create intuitive, engaging, and conversion-focused experiences that support the organization's educational mission and brand.
