Review customer mechanical designs, provide DFM recommendations, liaise with clients, prepare quotations, and coordinate with internal teams for project success. Core technologies: mechanical engineering, DFM.
Key Responsibilities
- Review customer mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) recommendations.
- Liaise with customers on technical and engineering matters.
- Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and purchasing to ensure project success.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) and production transfer.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD files.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly is an advantage.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with good follow-up and project coordination abilities.
- Experience in technical sales or manufacturing engineering is preferred.
