As a Technical Information and Documentation Specialist, you will support the delivery of high-quality technical projects and documentation services, ensuring outputs meet agreed standards for time, cost, and quality. Working independently and collaboratively, you will contribute to the production and maintenance of technical reports, templates, and project documentation in line with BMT’s quality procedures and documentation standards. You will provide guidance to authors, engineers, and authoring assistants, support the scoping and pricing of project tasks, and identify opportunities to improve processes and update strategies. You will attend stakeholder meetings, escalate issues where appropriate, and, where required, lead small project teams to successfully deliver standalone tasks and project outputs.

Strong analytical and review skills are essential, enabling you to identify discrepancies, interpret complex technical information, and produce clear, accurate reports. You will be an effective communicator who enjoys collaborating with others, while also being capable of working independently and using your own initiative. Experience with Eagle EPS, Larson, or similar authoring tools would be advantageous.
