Sr. Product Manager, Dev Platform

Lucid Software is the leader in AI-driven work acceleration, helping teams see and build the future by turning ideas into reality. Its products include the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite (Lucidchart and Lucidspark) and airfocus. The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, combined with powerful accelerators for cloud and process transformation, empowers organizations to streamline work, foster alignment, and drive business transformation at scale. We hold true to our core values: innovation in everything we do, passion & excellence in every area, individual empowerment, initiative and ownership, and teamwork over ego. At Lucid, we value diverse perspectives and are dedicated to creating an environment and culture that is respectful and inclusive for everyone. Lucid is a hybrid workplace. We promote a healthy work-life balance by allowing employees to work remotely, from one of our offices, or a combination of the two depending on the needs of the role and team.

At Lucid, we believe visual collaboration should live wherever work already happens. That's the core of what our Developer Platform team builds toward, and we're looking for a Senior Product Manager to own that strategy. You'll shape how Lucid embeds within tools our customers already rely on, like our Slack integration, and how our platform opens up through our APIs to power Lucid AI, MCPs, and the broader ecosystem of integrations. You'll be joining a vibrant team of PMs, UX Designers, Engineers, and QA Specialists who care as much about the technical foundation as the experience it enables. Are you a natural mentor and a great teammate? Are you drawn to work that is different every single day? Are you skilled at keeping a roadmap anchored to company strategy even as new opportunities and requests pull at it? Do you feel as comfortable navigating technical conversations with engineers as communicating to executive stakeholders? If this is you, let's talk!

Responsibilities:

• Drive collaboration across UX, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other Product teams
• Become an expert of and an advocate for our customers, their motivations, goals, and needs
• Deliver on key business outcomes measured by top level business metrics
• Own the roadmap across multiple projects, keeping it anchored to company strategy and communicating priority to relevant stakeholders
• Own product features and/or themes through their creative cycle: ideation, specification, development, release, analysis, and iteration
• Drive qualitative and quantitative research to discover feature ideas and validate them before development
• Effectively leveraging metrics to understand usage patterns and the effectiveness of features using quantitative analysis to find opportunities for optimization
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of software Product Management experience
• Proven track record of leading cross-team platform initiatives from strategy through execution
• Track record of improving core business and product metrics, especially in B2B SaaS environments
• Ability to de-risk: can be creative and come up with ways to validate hypotheses quickly
• Ability to talk with anyone from engineers to enterprise sales reps, solution engineers, executive-level customers, security, internal stakeholders, and end users, each in their own language
• Ability to understand and discuss technical trade-offs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong eye for polish, design, and brand within a product
• Experience with document-centric solutions within the Software as a Service (SaaS) domain
• Experience owning product strategy for a platform or API surface, not just a single feature
• Experience working with SaaS tools administrators
• Experience with rapid prototyping and learning techniques, including AB/multivariate testing
• Strong understanding of digital products and productivity workflow
• Experience mentoring or influencing other product managers
• Comfortable operating with significant autonomy in ambiguous, cross-functional environments
