Software Developer

Join us to build products that give healthcare professionals more time for care. At Sensio, you’ll work on innovative products, shape architecture, and influence how our team grows.

About us

Sensio is the leading provider of care technology in the Nordics, solving today's and tomorrow's care challenges for the benefit of service recipients, healthcare professionals, and society. We create sensors, systems, and platforms that radically improve the quality and efficiency of health care – leading the sector to embrace technology and provide #MoreTimeForCare.

One of our products is Sensio Insight, a decision support platform that gives healthcare professionals immediate, data-driven insights. By collecting and analysing information from sensors and systems, Insight helps staff plan, prioritise and act more effectively in a busy care environment.

Integrated with our widely used RoomMate sensor and as part of the Sensio 365 platform, Insight is designed to be secure and user-friendly. It ensures that the right information is always available so healthcare professionals can spend more time on care and less on searching for answers.

About the role

We are now looking for an experienced Software Developer to strengthen the Sensio Insight team. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute directly to the architecture and development of a brand-new product, while also shaping how the team works and grows.

This is a unique opportunity to work on a product that truly makes a difference. With Sensio Insight, healthcare staff gain more time for care and the confidence that their decisions are based on the best available information.

You will be part of a small but growing team where your work has a direct impact. Developers at Sensio help shape not only the code, but also the product itself.

The position is based at Sensio’s central Oslo headquarters.

What you'll be doing

• Build scalable backend services in C# / .NET Core

• Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on quality and test coverage

• Collaborate with product managers and business stakeholders to evaluate ideas

• Support cross-team collaboration with other Sensio products and integrations

• Contribute to the architecture and design of a new platform

You will report to our Development Lead, Arni, but you will also have the freedom to work independently and take responsibility for your own contributions.

What we're looking for

• Solid experience with C# / .NET Core and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, SOLID principles and Data Structures

• Experience building scalable distributed systems

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• At least five years of relevant experience (but skills and mindset matter most)

• It is a bonus if you are familiar with algorithms and Domain-Driven Design

What we offer

• Meaningful work with purpose – making a difference for health care personnel, patients, and next-of-kin

• The opportunity to be part of a Norwegian tech company with ambitions of becoming a global leader

• Having a big impact on the development of Sensio Insight

• To be part of an innovative culture focused on collaboration and user-centric development

• Great opportunities for professional and personal development

• Competitive compensation and benefits
