A Senior Full Stack Developer joins a client's team in Durban, South Africa on a hybrid model, building applications with React and .NET Core on Azure. Day to day involves CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and event-driven distributed systems, alongside architectural leadership and mentoring.
My client is looking for a Senior Fullstack developer based in Durban to join their team! Please note this role has a Hybrid working model.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems (or equivalent)
- 6+ years of software development experience with demonstrable architectural and leadership impact
- Deep expertise in React and .NET Core
- Strong Azure cloud experience; container orchestration (Kubernetes) advantageous
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep), and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, App Insights)
- Experience with messaging/event-driven systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), API gateways, and distributed systems
- Relevant certifications (Azure Administrator, Developer, Architect) advantageous
- Strategic thinking, stakeholder communication, and mentoring skills
