Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per year
About the role
Service Desk / Onsite Support Technician in a permanent part-time (4 hours per day, morning start) capacity, shared back-to-back with another team member. You'll alternate on a two-week rotation between remote service desk (WFH) resolving incidents and requests via phone, email and ticketing, supporting users across multiple customer environments, and onsite support in Melbourne CBD providing face-to-face support at a customer site, including user support, hardware and peripherals, and onsite troubleshooting. Handover between the two of you is a big part of the role, so clear notes and consistent ticket hygiene matter.
Key responsibilities
Triage, troubleshoot and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 incidents and service requests
Support Microsoft 365, Windows endpoints, printers, mobile devices and common business applications
Handle user onboarding/offboarding, account and access requests, and password resets
Provide a friendly, professional face for Zetta at customer sites
Keep tickets accurate and up to date, and hand over cleanly to your job-share partner
Escalate to senior engineers with clear, well-documented context when needed
About you
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in plain language
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload, both at home and onsite
Previous experience in a service desk, helpdesk or desktop support role (MSP experience is highly regarded)
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory/Entra ID
A customer-first attitude and a curious, problem-solving mindset
Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for customer security clearance purposes
