Senior System Administrator

Are you passionate about robust IT systems, performance optimization, and cutting-edge infrastructure? We are looking for a dedicated IT infrastructure administrator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the performance, confidentiality, integrity, availability, and security of our global IT infrastructure.

What You'll Do

Reporting to IT Management, you'll be responsible for the installation, configuration, support, and maintenance of IT systems across all geographical locations. Your main responsibilities include:

• Researching, evaluating, and testing new technologies, products, and services

• Installing, configuring, and releasing new or updated systems

• Documenting deployments and reviewing project implementations

• Performing routine maintenance to ensure system integrity and high performance

• Rolling out system updates and upgrades

• Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure issues

• Supporting and occasionally deputising for team members

• Continuously improving IT products, services, and internal processes

Skills & Competencies

We're looking for someone who brings strong hands-on experience and a proactive mindset. You should have:

• Expertise in configuring Cisco routers, firewalls, HPE/Aruba switches, and access points

• Experience administering HPE Simplivity or similar converged infrastructure

• Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Hyper-V, and PowerShell

• Experience with VMware vSphere 7+ and virtual environments

• Knowledge of SAN/NAS storage administration and replication

• Familiarity with Active Directory, GPOs, IIS, DHCP, DNS, and Certificates

• Minimum 2 years' experience maintaining MS SQL Server

• Experience with SCCM, SCVMM, SCOM, and endpoint security tools (EDR/XDR)

• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar systems administration role

• Advanced knowledge in IT infrastructure

• Diploma in Information Technology (or higher)

• Microsoft certifications in Windows Server (MCITP, MCSA, or MCSE)

• Microsoft Azure Certification

Desirable:

• M365 Certification

• VMware Certification
