• Contribute to architecture discussions, design reviews, and provide well-reasoned technical tradeoff input.
• Implement seamless integrations with Kubernetes, cloud providers, identity systems, and PKI solutions.
• Improve the scalability, resiliency, observability, and operational efficiency of owned services.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to turn requirements into well-designed solutions.
• Review code and actively mentor less experienced engineers through knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and improve operational readiness.

• Strong hands-on experience developing backend systems and distributed services in Golang.
• Solid experience building and operating cloud-native or SaaS platforms at scale.
• Deep understanding of APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and service-to-service communication.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and the broader cloud-native ecosystem.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex tasks and take ownership of results.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas and tradeoffs clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in security and identity systems, specifically workload identity, authentication, and authorization.
• Familiarity with networking, encryption, PKI, JWT/SVID technologies, or SPIFFE/SPIRE.
• Proven experience running production systems with high standards for reliability, performance, and security.
• Strong familiarity with observability practices such as logging, monitoring, tracing, and debugging.
• Comfort and adaptability working in fast-moving environments with changing product requirements.
