Lead Product Designer

Every nation has data. Few can protect it. Fewer still can act on it.

Dream is the sovereign AI and national cyber-defense company for governments.

We help nations secure their most critical systems, connect fragmented information at a national scale, and turn their most sensitive data into decisions, all fully sovereign.

This is more than a job. It's a Dream job, where you'll work at a global scale alongside some of the best AI researchers, cyber operators, and government experts in the world.

We defend nations against the most advanced threats in the world with a national security suite that offers AI-native resilience against APTs with visibility, insights and mediation across Posture, CTI, and Detection & Response, all fully sovereign.

The Dream Job

We’re looking for a Product Design Lead who is passionate about crafting intuitive, conversational, and intelligent user experiences. As our most senior product designer, you’ll set the design vision, raise the bar for the whole team, and stay hands-on- shaping how users interact with AI, balancing the precision of technology with the nuance of human-centered design. This role reports to the Director of Product.

If your team knows you as the designer who follows best practices but isn’t afraid to break conventions and invent smarter, more intuitive experiences—and who makes everyone around you better- this role is for you.

The Dream-Maker Responsibilities

• Lead the product design vision and strategy, shaping intuitive, user-centered solutions in a data-rich environment.
• Mentor, coach, and support the product designers on the team, providing regular feedback and guidance on craft, career growth, and day-to-day challenges.
• Set and uphold the design quality bar through design reviews, critiques, and hands-on guidance across projects.
• Drive the evolution of our design language to support intelligent systems, including suggestion flows and explainable AI patterns.
• Translate complex workflows into accessible product experiences, and guide the team in doing the same.
• Partner with product managers, engineers, analysts, and cyber researchers as design’s senior voice, helping shape roadmap and priorities.
• Advocate for user trust and transparency in AI design, especially around decision-making, nudges, and personalization.
• Present your work and the team’s work to senior stakeholders and leadership with clarity, storytelling, and rationale.
• Own design outcomes from concept through execution to post-launch iteration, planning and prioritizing the team’s work and capacity.
• Establish and refine design processes, including research, usability testing, and continuous iteration.
• Own and scale the Design System, and help build a strong design culture.
• Stay hands-on, personally taking on the most complex and strategic design challenges.

The Dream Skill Set

• 6+ years of experience designing digital products end to end, including experience leading or mentoring designers
• Proven track record of coaching and growing designers and setting a high bar for design quality
• Strong portfolio showcasing UX thinking and refined UI execution
• Proficiency in Figma and a deep grasp of design best practices.
• Experience building and scaling design systems and component libraries.
• Experience influencing product strategy and partnering with senior stakeholders, product managers, and engineering leads
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to give clear, constructive feedback
• A proactive mindset and comfort with ambiguity and fast-paced, iterative work environments.
• A fascination with how people interact with technology—especially emerging modalities like AI, predictive systems and complex data.
• Strong storytelling skills—you can break down complex AI functionality into user-first, value-driven narratives.
• BA/BS in Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Bonus if you’ve worked on cyber security products
