As a Senior MuleSoft Developer, you will play a key role in reducing complexity and manual effort across reMarkable by building a modern, scalable integration layer. You will design, build, and operate production-grade integrations that connect platforms, processes, and people enabling automation, speed, and scale across the business.

This role sits at the heart of a major transformation journey, including the replatforming of our integration layer to MuleSoft. You will have explicit ownership of integration best practices and standards, and real influence over both technical and strategic direction.

Our team is a cross-functional integration and engineering team that enables IT initiatives across supply chain, finance, e-commerce, and customer experience. We integrate and complement platforms such as SAP and Salesforce, unlocking value through APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Design technical integration solutions by gathering functional and non-functional requirements in close collaboration with stakeholders and the team

• Build and maintain integrations primarily on MuleSoft, with clear ownership of best practices, standards, and solution quality.

• Operate and monitor the integration platform, ensuring system health, responding to alerts and escalations, and handling incidents.

• Act as a MuleSoft Subject Matter Expert by identifying improvements, sharing best practices, and coaching others through code reviews, pair programming, and internal demos.

• As part of a DevOps team, take end-to-end ownership of integrations, including testing, deployments, infrastructure, observability, and CI/CD tooling.

We are looking for the following experience:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing integrations with MuleSoft, working end-to-end across the full integration lifecycle.

• Experience designing integration solutions and creating technical reference materials, including RAML and/or OpenAPI specifications.

• Solid understanding of API security (OAuth, OpenID, SAML) and REST/HTTP best practices.

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems in a DevOps environment.

It is also nice to have if you have:

• MuleSoft developer certifications

• Experience with SAP or Salesforce integrations

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP preferred) and observability tools (Grafana preferred)

As a person, you are a collaborative team player who works well across teams and domains. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing priorities while keeping sight of the bigger picture and the end-to-end process.

You enjoy solving complex problems and bring an “outside-the-box” mindset, looking beyond obvious solutions to create meaningful and effective outcomes.
