Introduction & Summary:
The Senior IT Project Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and driving a critical project in the APAC region. This position demands strong technical skills and exceptional communication abilities to engage with stakeholders effectively.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee project planning and execution across the APAC region.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Coordinate communication between teams and stakeholders.
Adapt project strategies to meet regional dynamics, particularly in China.
Ensure the project aligns with client expectations and requirements.
Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead regular status meetings and provide updates to senior management.
Facilitate collaboration among internal teams to leverage expertise.
Drive the project towards timely and successful completion.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in IT settings.
Exceptional proficiency in project management methodologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical background with an understanding of IT systems.
Experience managing cross-functional teams.
Ability to adapt strategies based on regional market needs.
Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with logistics or supply chain projects.
Familiarity with APAC market trends.
Agile project management experience.
Knowledge of change management processes.
Other Details:
This role requires a full-time commitment for the initial 4-5 months, transitioning to a reduced workload of 70-80%. The project duration extends until June 2027, with potential for extension. Candidates are preferred to be based in Asia, particularly China or Malaysia, to facilitate project demands.
