Day-to-day is end-to-end engineering with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Join an early engineering team building an AI-powered integration platform for businesses. You will own core systems across the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime, working closely with company leadership and shaping the engineering foundation as the team grows.
What You'll Do
Build and operate the agent platform, infrastructure, and integrations runtime end to end.
Develop systems that coordinate specialized AI agents and support durable execution, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of integrations.
Set engineering patterns and technical foundations that future team members can build on.
Ship production changes frequently, maintain quality, and help shape the overall system.
What We're Looking For
Two to nine years of professional software engineering experience, with repeated ownership of production systems from design through operation.
A completed or in-progress degree in engineering, computer science, or a quantitative field from a highly ranked technical university.
Experience as a founder of a venture-backed startup or as an engineer at an early-stage startup backed by recognized investors.
Strong end-to-end engineering ability across AI agent platforms, infrastructure, and integration runtimes.
Comfort using multiple AI coding agents while exercising sound judgment about production quality.
Experience with TypeScript, React, Bun, Effect-TS, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, and AWS.
Compensation & Benefits
Annual salary range: $150,000 to $250,000 USD. Visa sponsorship may be available when an O-1 visa is a realistic option.
Location
On-site in San Francisco, California, five days a week. Candidates currently elsewhere in the United States should have a concrete relocation plan.
