About the Role
Join an applied AI engineering team building systems that change how knowledge work gets done at a growing AI-powered accounting software company. You will work closely with teams across the business to design and deliver agent-driven workflows that handle complex work from end to end.
What You'll Do- Build and deploy AI agents that take on meaningful work across business workflows.
- Develop the infrastructure, interfaces, and operating approaches that help people and agents work together effectively.
- Work directly with internal teams and clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and improve solutions.
- Take ownership of projects from problem discovery through launch, ensuring the systems work reliably in practice.
- Understand the underlying workflows and data to inform system design, agent behavior, and product decisions.
- Typically, 5 to 15 years of relevant experience, including experience as a founder, founding engineer, or software engineer at a startup.
- Demonstrated experience building AI agents and working with multiple agent SDKs and LLM tools beyond basic chatbots.
- Strong expertise in at least one full-stack programming language, with experience in TypeScript or Python relevant to the role.
- Experience collaborating directly with clients and internal teams to gather feedback and iterate on software.
- Strong systems thinking, initiative, and ownership of outcomes in ambiguous problem spaces.
Salary range: $150,000 to $300,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
