Senior Data Engineer

Als Senior Data Engineer bij DNB moderniseer je het dataplatform van Statistiek, ontwerp en optimaliseer je dataverwerking in Azure Databricks (PySpark/Python), leid je migraties, en borg je kwaliteit via CI/CD, monitoring, code reviews en het terugdringen van technische schuld. Direct solliciteren Neem contact op Role purpose: Design, build, and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines that enable reliable analytics, reporting, and data-driven products. - Develop and operate robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and streaming data. - Model, transform, and curate datasets for analytics and downstream applications. - Build and optimize data warehouse/lakehouse solutions, including performance tuning and cost control. - Implement data quality checks, monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices. - Establish and enforce data governance, security, and access controls in partnership with stakeholders. - Collaborate with analytics, product, and engineering teams to define data requirements and SLAs. - Automate deployments using CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code; improve reliability and observability. - Document data assets, lineage, and operational runbooks for maintainability. - Programming: Advanced SQL; proficiency in Python and/or Scala. - Data platforms: Experience with modern warehouses/lakehouses and distributed processing (e.g., Spark). - Orchestration: Workflow scheduling and dependency management (e.g., Airflow or similar). - Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, including storage and compute services. - Engineering practices: Version control, testing, CI/CD, and code review. - Data reliability: Monitoring, data quality frameworks, and troubleshooting production pipelines.
