As our Digital business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to help our clients solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful outcomes through technology. Based in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne, this role sits within our growing Digital team and will work across a diverse portfolio of projects spanning advisory, design, and delivery. This position is for a strong all-rounder who can operate independently across consulting, business analysis and software delivery.

What You'll Do

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll lead discovery, analysis, and requirements activities across complex digital and technology-enabled initiatives. Partnering closely with clients, stakeholders, architects, developers and designers, you'll help shape digital solutions that are practical, scalable and aligned to business objectives.

You'll play a key role in:

• Leading discovery workshops, stakeholder engagement activities and requirements gathering sessions.
• Translating business challenges and user needs into actionable solution requirements.
• Developing business cases, future-state processes, service experiences and operating models.
• Analysing systems, integrations, APIs, data flows and business rules to support solution design.
• Producing high-quality business analysis artefacts including process maps, user journeys, requirements specifications and service blueprints.
• Supporting agile delivery through prioritisation, backlog management and scope definition.
• Applying AI-enabled tools and approaches to improve analysis, documentation and delivery outcomes.
• Building trusted client relationships and contributing to business development, proposals and work-winning activities.
• Helping strengthen capability across the Digital practice through mentoring, coaching and continuous improvement initiatives.
  

About You

You'll bring a strong consulting mindset coupled with deep business analysis expertise and a passion for using technology to solve complex business problems.

Must have:

• Strong senior BA experience in software development environments, not just process or business transformation.
• Proven ability to lead discovery workshops, clarify ambiguous problems and challenge stakeholder assumptions.
• Strong client-facing consulting skills — able to build credibility quickly, make recommendations and influence senior stakeholders.
• Technically fluent enough to work closely with developers and architects across APIs, integrations, data flows, system behaviour, security and non-functional requirements.
• Demonstrated ownership and initiative — willing to step beyond traditional BA boundaries to drive an outcome.
• Comfortable supporting or leading smaller engagements across scope, risks, dependencies, backlog, delivery planning and stakeholder communication.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to give concise executive-level recommendations, not just detailed analysis.
• Practical, current use of AI to accelerate analysis and delivery, while understanding validation, privacy and governance.

Strongly preferred:

• Previous software engineering, technical delivery or solution-analysis background.
• Consulting/professional-services experience across multiple clients or domains.
• Experience leading discovery through to implementation, not just requirements handover.
• Ability to coach or guide junior BAs.
