Product Owner at Puzzle Studio, a mobile casual puzzle game studio in Ho Chi Minh City. The role owns the roadmap and performance of assigned game titles — improving gameplay loops, game economy, LiveOps, retention, and monetization through data-driven decisions and A/B testing — working with Game Design, Engineering, BI, UA, and Monetization teams.

We combine creativity, technology, and data-driven decision-making to build successful mobile games. As our portfolio continues to grow, we're looking for a Product Owner to drive product performance and continuously improve player experience, engagement, and monetization.
2. Role Overview
As a Product Owner, you will own the roadmap and performance of assigned game titles, from identifying product opportunities to launching and optimizing features.
You will work closely with Game Design, Engineering, BI, User Acquisition, and Monetization teams to improve gameplay, progression, game economy, LiveOps, retention, LTV, and monetization through data-driven product decisions.
3. Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Ownership
Own the product roadmap and performance of assigned game titles.
Identify and prioritize opportunities based on player behavior, product data, and business impact.
Define product requirements and drive initiatives from concept to launch and iteration.
Conduct market and competitor research to identify new mechanics, features, and product opportunities.
Gameplay, Economy & LiveOps
Work with Game Designers to improve core gameplay loops, progression, meta systems, and player experience.
Own and optimize game economy, including currencies, sources & sinks, rewards, progression pacing, and resource balance.
Plan and optimize LiveOps, including events, challenges, seasonal content, Battle Pass, and player segmentation.
Balance engagement, retention, and monetization to build a healthy long-term player experience.
Analytics & Experimentation
Monitor key metrics including retention, LTV, ARPDAU, engagement, progression, conversion, and economy health.
Analyze cohorts, funnels, progression, and player behavior to identify opportunities and product issues.
Formulate hypotheses and design A/B tests with clear success metrics.
Evaluate experiment results and turn insights into actionable product decisions.
Work with BI to define tracking requirements and ensure reliable product data.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Engineering and Game Design to deliver high-quality product features.
Work with User Acquisition to understand player quality and creative-product fit.
Collaborate with Monetization to optimize Ads and IAP while protecting retention and player experience.
Communicate product priorities, performance, and insights clearly to stakeholders.
Requirements
4. Requirements
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Business, Product Management, Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Game Design, or similar roles within mobile gaming.
Hands-on experience with Casual, Puzzle, or Hybrid Casual games.
Experience owning or significantly contributing to a live mobile game's roadmap and performance.
Strong understanding of core gameplay loops, progression, game economy, player motivation, and F2P design.
Strong understanding of product analytics, including retention, cohort analysis, LTV, ARPDAU, funnels, and engagement.
Understanding of both Ads and IAP monetization.
Experience designing or evaluating A/B tests.
Ability to translate data and player behavior into clear product decisions.
Strong ownership, prioritization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Nice to Have
Experience managing LiveOps for mobile games.
Hands-on experience designing or balancing game economy, progression systems, Battle Pass, or player segmentation.
Experience optimizing Ads or IAP monetization.
Experience working closely with User Acquisition teams.
Basic SQL knowledge.
Familiarity with ClickHouse, Metabase, GameAnalytics, Firebase, Singular, or similar analytics platforms.
