Principal Firmware Engineer

Responsibility:

Firmware Functional Leader & Firmware Developer roles

Main Duties

FW projects management and follow up
FPGA architecture specification
FPGA designer, owner of some IP and top-level FPGA designs and support
Define safety-oriented system architectures and functions
Design functions and integrate chips in FPGAs
Design process (Internal and DO254) assurance
Technical support
Sub-contractors follow up
Verify designs following requirement-driven methods
Validate systems on target
Collaborate with hardware, software and system teams

Implement FPGAs from design in RTL to synthesis and place and route.
Define and validate formal FPGA test procedures
Simulations are run in SystemVerilog following UVM
Write UVM testbenches and agents for FPGA development

Education / Experience:

Master's degree in Electronics Engineering
At least 10 years of experience as embedded firmware engineer

Special Qualifications:

Experience in FPGA design/verification
Solid backgrounds in DO254
Fluent in English
