Job Title: Network Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Teesside
Salary: From £40,000 per annum + Company Car
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30 pm

The Role
We are looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee structured cabling and fibre optic projects from initial contract handover through to completion and final client sign off.
Working across commercial, industrial, education, healthcare and public sector environments, you will manage projects involving structured cabling, fibre optic systems, containment, cabinet installations and associated passive network infrastructure.
You will oversee project delivery, commercial performance, customer relationships and the coordination of engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.

Responsibilities of a Network Infrastructure Project Manager
- Manage projects end to end - from contract award through to installation, testing, certification and handover.
- Drive project delivery - manage programmes, resources and deadlines to deliver safely, on time and within budget.
- Control costs and profitability - monitor budgets, expenditure, variations and additional works.
- Lead engineering teams - coordinate workloads, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage client relationships - act as the main contact for customers, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
- Oversee technical delivery - review drawings, cable schedules and specifications, providing installation guidance.
- Maintain quality and compliance - oversee copper certification, fibre testing, OTDR results and project documentation.
- Manage risk and safety - resolve issues, review RAMS and ensure HSEQ and CDM compliance.
- Coordinate project handovers - ensure as built drawings, O&M manuals, test results and warranty documentation are complete.
- Drive continuous improvement - maintain accurate records, follow procedures and improve project delivery.
You will be an organised, commercially aware Network Infrastructure Project Manager with proven experience delivering structured cabling, fibre optic or network infrastructure projects.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience managing data, fibre or network infrastructure projects from start to finish.
- Strong technical knowledge of structured cabling, fibre optics and passive network systems.
- Experience coordinating engineers, subcontractors, suppliers and multiple project requirements.
- Commercial awareness, including project budgets, cost control and variations.
- Knowledge of fibre testing, copper certification, OTDR results and handover requirements.
- The ability to interpret technical drawings, cable schedules and project specifications.
- A good understanding of health and safety, CDM and relevant industry standards.
- Excellent communication, planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- A proactive approach to leadership, customer service and quality.
