Salary: $154,231 - $178,369 + super

NSW Fair Trading is embarking on a major program of work to transition to agentic data engineering and analytics. The Manager Data & AI Platform Engineering will be responsible for architecting a data model, and cloud data platform, to enable agentic data engineering, analytics and science workflows.
In this role you'll own the platform target state architecture and roadmap. You'll lead a small team to design and implement major uplifts in security, identity, deployment, and agent orchestration across our platform, supported by a team of 5.
This is a rare opportunity to experiment and learn on the cutting edge of technology. You'll be asked to continuously find new and better ways of doing things. You'll have a high degree of autonomy, and will be accountable for playing a strategic leadership role in the Directorate.

Salary Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $154,231 base plus superannuation
