Principal SRE Engineer / Architect

We're looking for a Principal SRE Engineer / Architect to drive operational excellence and lead DevOps transformation for a growing platform. This is a fully remote role (Mexico) focused on ensuring production readiness, automation, and high-impact incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and self-healing systems that reduce manual intervention.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis (RCA) in critical production environments.
• Optimize performance and scalability of distributed systems, including capacity planning and load balancing.
• Implement and maintain observability using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and AppDynamics.
• Manage certificates (Venafi, ECMS, OpenSSL, cipher suites) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, F5, proxies, FTP/SFTP).
• Ensure compliance with ITSM frameworks and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in DevOps automation, troubleshooting, and incident management.
• Solid knowledge of observability tools (Splunk, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or similar).
• Experience with certificate management and networking concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced English proficiency to work with international teams.
• Availability to work fully remote from Mexico.
