About the Role
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Python Developer to join their growing team in Tembisa . You will contribute to the development and maintenance of dynamic web applications, working closely with senior developers to learn and implement best practices. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of web applications using Python and relevant frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving code quality and team standards.
- Debug and resolve software defects and issues identified during testing or by users.
- Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deliver functional features.
- Learn and apply new technologies and development methodologies as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Foundational knowledge of Python programming and its core concepts.
- Familiarity with web development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Basic understanding of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL.
- Eagerness to learn, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for coding.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
