IT Support Engineer

IT Support Engineer

£30,000 – £35,000 | Glasgow | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

Help build something from the beginning.

Some IT support roles feel like you're simply keeping the lights on.

This one gives you the chance to help build something new.

You'll join a growing software company just as they're relocating into a brand-new Glasgow office, playing a key role in setting up the new IT and infrastructure environment while supporting users across the business.

If you enjoy variety, like getting hands-on with technology, and want to broaden your infrastructure skills, this could be a brilliant opportunity.

What's in it for you?

• Salary: £30,000 – £35,000
• Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office
• Location: East Kilbride initially, before moving to a brand-new Glasgow office in October/November 2026
• Variety: Mix of 1st & 2nd line support, desktop, infrastructure, networking and project work
• Development: Work alongside an experienced Senior IT Engineer with genuine opportunities to grow your technical skills

What you'll be doing

No two days will look quite the same.

You'll support users across Microsoft 365, Windows, laptops and Macs, troubleshoot networking and hardware issues, and become the go-to IT presence within the office.

You'll also play a key part in the office relocation, helping move and install equipment, supporting infrastructure changes, and making sure the transition into the new Glasgow office runs smoothly.

As you develop, you'll gain broader exposure to Windows Server, infrastructure, networking, and wider IT projects.

What you'll bring

• Experience in a 1st or 2nd line IT support role
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows environments
• Confidence supporting laptops, desktops and end users
• Basic networking and troubleshooting experience
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and a genuine team-first approach

Why this role?

This isn't just another support position.

It's an opportunity to join a close-knit IT team, work alongside experienced engineers, help deliver a major office move, and develop into a broader infrastructure engineer over time.
