Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Join us at an exciting time

We have been known for high-quality plywood products for decades. Now, as UPM Plywood plans its transitions into an independent company, WISA Group, we are also building the technology environment that supports our future business. We are investing in cloud technologies, AI, automation, cybersecurity, data and modern workplace solutions to create a reliable and scalable IT foundation for our operations.

To support this journey, we are looking for a Hybrid Cloud Architect to join our team.

What makes this role interesting?

This is not a role where you'll spend your days only by creating architecture slides and frameworks.

We're looking for someone who enjoys designing solutions, solving technical challenges and working closely with both business stakeholders and IT partners to get things done.

As we are building our future IT landscape, you'll have the opportunity to influence key technological decisions while staying close to implementation and delivery.

You'll work across cloud services, infrastructure, integrations, security and enterprise applications, helping ensure our technological environment supports both office and manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you will:

• Design and develop solutions across Azure and on-premises environments

• Support cloud migration and modernization projects

• Work with internal teams and external partners to deliver infrastructure and platform solutions

• Improve integrations between business applications, manufacturing systems and data platforms

• Help define technical standards and best practices

• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code approaches

• Ensure solutions are secure, reliable and scalable

• Participate in technology projects from planning through implementation

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend practical improvements

What we're looking for

What matters is that you have strong technical expertise, enjoy solving problems and can work effectively with different stakeholders.

We expect you to have:

• Experience in cloud, infrastructure or solution architecture

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud environments

• Experience working with enterprise infrastructure and platforms

• Understanding of networking, identity management and cybersecurity

• Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code and FinOps

• Ability to communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

• A practical, hands-on approach to technology

It would be an advantage if you also have experience in manufacturing environments, SAP, data platforms, AI solutions or Microsoft certifications.

Why join?

This is a unique opportunity to join a company at an important stage of its journey.

You'll have the chance to:

• Help build the IT environment of a newly independent company

• Work with modern cloud technologies and real business challenges

• Influence on how technology supports our operations and future growth

• Collaborate with experienced colleagues and trusted partners

• Develop your skills in a supportive and international environment

• Enjoy flexible working arrangements and competitive benefits

Join us and help build our future IT environment.
