Job Description

Hands-on Solution Architect (Solution Architecture Advisor)

Build the Future with Us

Are you passionate about technological innovation, artificial intelligence, and designing high-impact solutions? Do you want to contribute to the digital transformation of an organization that places innovation, collaboration, and value creation at the heart of its priorities?

As a Hands-on Solution Architect (Solution Architecture Advisor) within the Incubation team, you will play a key role in exploring, designing, developing, and industrializing innovative solutions. You will directly contribute to accelerating technology modernization, integrating new solutions into the organization’s ecosystem, and transforming promising ideas into tangible business value.

We are looking for someone who enjoys architecting solutions just as much as writing code to bring them to life.

You Are Probably the Right Person If You:

• Still enjoy coding.
• Have built multiple solutions from the ground up.
• Can move seamlessly from strategic discussions to hands-on development within the same day.
• Enjoy exploring technologies you have never worked with before.
• Are recognized for delivering tangible results quickly.
• Prefer solving problems over defending a specific technology domain.
• Thrive in ambiguity and fast-evolving environments.
• View architecture as a means to accelerate delivery rather than as a documentation exercise.

What You Will Accomplish With Us

As a Hands-on Solution Architect, you will be at the center of our mission. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Designing robust, scalable solution architectures aligned with business needs and the organization’s technology strategy.
• Developing Proofs of Concept (POCs), Proofs of Value (POVs), and Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) to rapidly validate new technological approaches.
• Actively participating in software development, testing, debugging, and deploying key solution components.
• Collaborating closely with developers, architects, analysts, and business partners to ensure the success of strategic initiatives.
• Leading architecture activities, including solution reviews, governance, architecture decisions, and compliance with enterprise standards.
• Supporting the industrialization, integration, and transition of solutions to operational teams.
• Ensuring the quality, integrity, and traceability of solutions throughout their lifecycle.
• Contributing to the evolution of architecture, software engineering, artificial intelligence, DevOps, and modern engineering practices.
• Monitoring technology trends and recommending innovative approaches tailored to organizational needs.

What Could Accelerate Your Success in This Role

We are looking for someone who:

• Is recognized for designing and delivering end-to-end technology solutions.
• Demonstrates strong technical leadership, an innovative mindset, and the ability to rapidly turn ideas into concrete results.
• Exhibits a broad technical skill set and adaptability across different technology environments.
• Is known for intellectual curiosity, rapid learning ability, and comfort in ambiguous and constantly evolving contexts.
• Has at least 12 years of experience in Information Technology, including a minimum of 7 years in solution architecture within complex projects and large-scale organizations.
• Has recent, hands-on experience in software development and modern solution design.
• Possesses significant experience in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and modern DevOps practices.
• Has a strong understanding of architecture and integration principles, as well as modern technology environments, including containers, orchestration, and event-driven architectures.
• Holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Possesses advanced English proficiency, as the role requires regular collaboration with technology vendors, analysis of specialized technical documentation, evaluation of international technology platforms and solutions, and interaction with business partners and technical experts working in English-speaking environments.
• Possesses advanced French proficiency, as the role requires frequent collaboration with French-speaking stakeholders, participation in strategic discussions, preparation of technical and business documentation, and communication with teams across the organization.

Technology Environment

You will work in an innovation-driven environment focused on rapid experimentation. Key technologies and practices include:

• Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI.
• Containers & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes.
• Integration: APIs, Kafka, event-driven architectures, MuleSoft.
• Development: .NET, C#, NoSQL databases.
• DevOps & Automation: Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Git, Terraform, CI/CD.
• Security & Compliance: Industry-recognized frameworks, including NIST and ISO 27001.
• Methodologies: Agile, Lean Startup, MVP, DevOps, SDLC, and ITIL.

Why You’ll Love Working with Us

• A workplace where learning and development go hand in hand with a shared pursuit of excellence
• A healthy, safe, equitable, and inclusive environment where your full potential can thrive
• The opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, supported by flexibility and access to inspiring, modern workspaces
• Competitive benefits: flexible group insurance, pension plan, share ownership plan, vacation and wellness days, telemedicine, employee and family assistance program, ergonomic equipment program, performance bonus, discounts on iA products, and much more!
