GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The HR Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making across Human Resources by collecting, analyzing, validating, and reporting employee and organizational data and trends. This role develops forward-looking workforce analytics, dashboards, and insights that enable the CHRO and HRBPs to identify workforce trends, measure program effectiveness, improve processes, and support organizational goals.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, maintain, and deliver forward-looking workforce analytics, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and reports that provide leaders with accurate, actionable insights - not routine day-to-day operational reporting.
- Create clear, executive-ready data visualizations and PowerPoint presentations that communicate key insights and recommendations to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Contribute to data-driven decision-making by ensuring the accuracy, quality, and effective interpretation of workforce and talent management information.
- Analyze workforce trends across employee engagement, talent acquisition, performance, retention, and organizational health to identify risks, opportunities, and recommended actions.
- Translate complex workforce data into concise reports, executive-ready presentations, and recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Analyze employee surveys and listening programs, translating feedback into actionable insights, clearly defined ownership, and measurable action plans.
- Partner with business leaders and key stakeholders to define analytical needs, answer critical business questions, and deliver data-driven solutions that improve organizational effectiveness.
- Support workforce planning and forecasting by developing staffing models, evaluating talent demand and organizational capacity, and providing visibility into future headcount needs, skill requirements, and timing.
- Maintain data integrity by establishing consistent metric definitions, governance practices, and validation processes that support reliable workforce reporting and decision-making.
- Support strategic HR initiatives by providing analytical guidance for talent management, retention strategies, employee experience, organizational design, performance programs, compensation reviews, workforce planning, and other strategic priorities.

EXPERIENCE/CREDENTIALS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of advanced data analysis experience, including statistical analysis, trend identification, data interpretation, and the development of analytical models and reports.
- 2+ years of HR experience, preferably with a focus on workforce analytics, employee engagement, HRIS reporting, scorecards, KPIs, and data interpretation.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience required.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and analytics tools; ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP TotalSource preferred.
- Experience with business analytics and data visualization platform tools such as Power BI or Tableau; SQL or other query language experience preferred.
- Relevant HR or people analytics certification preferred, such as SHRM-CP, PHR, SHRM People Analytics Specialty Credential, or AIHR People Analytics Certificate.
