The Opportunity

What you'll be doing

• Develop and enhance user interfaces using React or similar modern front-end technologies
• Build and integrate Representational State Transfer (REST) application programming interfaces (APIs) and web services
• Integrate with Java-based microservices and understand end-to-end application flows
• Retrieve, validate, and troubleshoot application data using Structured Query Language (SQL) and PostgreSQL
• Write clean, reusable, and well-tested code that supports long-term maintainability
• Investigate application and production issues and perform root-cause analysis through resolution
• Support releases, deployments, production support, and improvements to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automated testing

What we're looking for

• Apply React or another modern front-end framework to build effective user interfaces
• Build and integrate Representational State Transfer (REST) application programming interfaces with a strong understanding of Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) and web services
• Develop across front-end and back-end layers to deliver end-to-end functionality
• Use Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database concepts to validate, troubleshoot, and interpret application data
• Use Git and modern software development practices including code reviews and engineering standards
• Embed automated testing and continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices into day-to-day engineering
• Resolve application and production issues by evaluating complex behavior and business logic in existing systems
