18-month term full stack developer at Alberta Blue Cross building customer-facing website experiences, design system components, and Edge Delivery Services blocks with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and frameworks like React/Angular/Vue. Focus on WCAG accessibility, performance, SEO, and Git/CI-CD; mostly work-from-home in Alberta with periodic office visits.

We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join us, temporarily (18 months), on our mission to create simple and enjoyable experiences through universal design. This position will have the expertise to see what others cannot—creating captive experiences like no one has seen before. The ideal candidate for this position will be capable of progressive thought—grounded in security, privacy, performance, and scalability. You will have a passion for developing inventive, bold, clean, and fully functioning websites to support Alberta Blue Cross’s digital experience initiatives. In turn, you’ll be part of a high performing, ambitious and truly user obsessed team that works closely with stakeholders throughout the organization.
You will have the flexibility to decide how and when you work. While you may be working from home most of the time, there will be plenty of opportunity to come into the office periodically for important meetings and other purposeful connections.
