Full Stack Developer - Propely

Propely is building an intelligent property management platform that is becoming the daily operating system for an industry ready for digital transformation. Today, more than 10,000 professionals use Propely every month to manage and operate thousands of properties across Norway.

We are now looking for Full Stack Developers who want to help build the product and technology behind our next stage of growth.

About Propely

Propely is one of Norway’s fastest-growing technology companies.

Founded by three high school entrepreneurs in 2019, Propely has grown to become the largest operations platform for private real estate portfolios in Norway.

In 2025, we were named Scaleup of the Year by Proptech Norway and ranked among the top 10 fastest-growing technology companies in Norway by Deloitte, based on revenue growth over the previous four years.

Our team combines ambitious founders with experienced people across technology, product, design, sales, and marketing. Together, we are building software that enables more efficient operations, happier tenants, and a more sustainable real estate industry.

We're also backed by experienced investors including Arkwright X, Skagerak Capital, and the founders of Spacemaker, the Norwegian AI proptech company acquired by Autodesk.

Why now?

Propely is entering a new phase where we are building for a larger customer base, new markets, and a more ambitious product vision.

The platform already supports thousands of properties, a growing ecosystem of integrations, and more than 2.5 million API requests every day. As we continue to scale, we are evolving the architecture and platform to support significantly more users, customers, integrations, and data.

AI will also play an important role in where we take the product next. We believe there is a significant opportunity to rethink how property operations are done today, using AI not as a layer on top of the product, but as an increasingly integrated part of how users work in Propely.

For our engineering team, that creates an interesting combination: building new product experiences while continuously improving the technology underneath them.

We are therefore growing the team with developers who want to take real ownership of what they build and work across the product rather than on one small piece of it.

What you’ll do

As a Full Stack Developer at Propely, you will work across the entire product, from understanding a problem and shaping the solution to building, shipping, and improving it in production.

We are a relatively small product team, which means developers are close to both the users, the product decisions, and the technology. You will have room to influence how things are built, challenge existing solutions, and take ownership beyond simply implementing predefined tasks.

You will:

• Build features end-to-end. Work across frontend, backend, APIs, and data to take ideas from problem to production.

• Build the next generation of Propely with AI. Help explore and build AI-driven capabilities that can fundamentally improve how property professionals work.

• Solve real user problems. Understand how property managers and operators work, and translate complex workflows into products that make their everyday work simpler.

• Shape the technical solution. Take part in architectural and technical decisions and have a real say in how the platform evolves.

• Build for a growing platform. Help improve performance, reliability, and scalability as Propely grows across customers, properties, integrations, and markets.

• Work closely with product and design. Collaborate from the earliest stages of an idea rather than receiving finished specifications to implement.

• Take ownership in production. Care about what happens after something is shipped and continuously improve the features and systems you work on.

• Contribute to how we build software. Take part in code reviews, testing, CI/CD, observability, and the engineering practices that help us move quickly without compromising quality.

Our core stack is React, TypeScript, Node.js, and Google Cloud Platform, but we care more about strong engineering fundamentals and your ability to learn than whether you have worked with every technology we use today.

Who we think will thrive here

We are looking for developers who enjoy working across the stack and taking ownership beyond the code itself. You might have a full-stack background, or lean more towards frontend or backend.

What matters most is that you:

• Have experience building modern web applications in production

• Are comfortable working across different parts of a product and want to develop further as a full-stack engineer

• Are curious about AI and emerging technologies, and excited about turning new capabilities into useful products that solve real problems

• Enjoy taking ownership from problem to shipped solution

• Care about building software that is reliable, maintainable, and useful

• Like solving product problems as much as technical ones

• Are comfortable making decisions and moving forward without having every detail defined upfront

• Enjoy working closely with designers, product people, and other engineers

• Want to work in an environment where your ideas and technical decisions can have a visible impact

Experience with React, TypeScript, Node.js, cloud platforms, SaaS products, or startup/scaleup environments is an advantage, but we do not expect you to tick every box.

What you get

• A key role in one of Norway’s fastest-growing technology companies

• The opportunity to build a product used by thousands of people every month

• Real influence on the product, technical solutions, and how we build software

• Meaningful equity ownership, giving you real upside as Propely continues to grow

• A highly collaborative environment with short decision paths and an eNPS above 70

• Inspiring offices at Epicenter in central Oslo, including a gym, warm lunch, and more

• A social environment with regular events, cabin trips, and team workout clubs

• Opportunities to attend conferences, AI events, and industry meetups

• Your choice of equipment and a personal tech budget, including access to different AI tools

If you want to build products end-to-end, take real ownership of what you ship, and help shape a technology platform entering its next stage of growth, we would love to hear from you!
