Contract (B2B) cybersecurity consultant for a banking client, hybrid in Poland: assesses security findings, prioritises vulnerabilities by risk, and drives cross-organisational remediation from identification to resolution. Core focus areas are vulnerability scoring frameworks, risk management, Secure DevOps, DORA, OWASP, and Python-based automation.

Overview
We are seeking a cybersecurity professional responsible for assessing security findings, prioritising vulnerabilities based on risk, and driving cross-organisational remediation from identification through to resolution.
Main Responsibilities
This role involves:
Lead identification of remediation gaps and associated strategic resolution initiatives.
Provide expert guidance on remediation strategies aligned with security best practices.
Analyse complex scanning results to reduce risk exposure.
Collaborate with remediation owners to ensure timely execution of tasks.
Communicate security findings clearly and track remediation progress.
Demonstrate autonomy and proactive governance in task execution.
Contribute to the design of risk scoring systems for prioritization of vulnerabilities.
Key Requirements
3+ years of hands-on experience in security domains, particularly in findings assessment and remediation.
Expertise in vulnerability scoring frameworks and security risk assessment methodologies.
Deep understanding of modern AI threats and their implications for security.
Experience with Secure DevOps practices, DORA, and OWASP.
Advanced troubleshooting and conceptual skills for unique remediation challenges.
Proficient in data analysis and statistical modeling techniques.
Excellent understanding of risk management approaches.
Experience in cross-organizational collaboration and negotiation.
Fluency in business and technical English (written and spoken) is essential.
Experience in automation technologies, preferably with Python and related tools.
Practical knowledge of AI technologies in governance processes.
Ability to mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Nice to Have
Experience with automation tools such as Apache Airflow and Power Automate.
Background in problem management.
