Salary: $2,300 – $3,000 per month
Position Overview:
The Contract IT Desktop Support Technician provides first-level onsite and remote technical support for TMCC staff and operational users. The position supports the daily availability, performance and security of end-user devices, workplace applications and related IT services across the Club. The technician will record and manage support requests, resolve incidents within assigned service levels, maintain accurate IT asset records, and escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel or vendors.
Job Objective
To support TMCC's day-to-day IT operations by delivering timely desktop support, maintaining reliable end-user computing services, assisting with account and device administration, and ensuring that support activities comply with TMCC IT policies, procedures and service standard
Key Responsibilities
A. End-User and Service Desk Support
Provide onsite and remote technical support for computers, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, connectivity and approved business applications.
Log, prioritise, track and resolve IT incidents and service requests.
Provide user updates and escalate complex or high-impact issues when required.
B. Hardware, Software and Endpoint Support
Install, configure, deploy and maintain IT hardware, software and peripherals.
Perform basic device health checks, updates, troubleshooting and security checks.
Support meeting-room AV equipment and other technology used for Club operations and events.
C. Account and Access Administration
Assist with user account creation, access changes, password resets and account deactivation.
Support basic administration of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune, SharePoint and other authorised systems.
Assist with IT onboarding and offboarding, including device preparation, account setup and equipment recovery.
D. IT Asset and Inventory Management
Maintain accurate IT asset and software records.
Issue, transfer, recover and verify IT equipment with proper documentation.
Assist with stock checks, asset audits, warranty tracking and equipment disposal.
E. Infrastructure and Operational Technology Support
Provide first-level support for network connectivity, Teams Phone, CCTV, access control, POS and other Club IT systems.
Coordinate with senior IT staff and vendors on technical issues, repairs and maintenance.
Report system faults, unusual conditions and recurring issues promptly.
F. Cybersecurity, Documentation and Compliance
Follow TMCC IT security, data protection and acceptable-use policies.
Report suspected security incidents, phishing, malware or unauthorised access immediately.
Maintain IT support records, troubleshooting guides and relevant documentation.
Assist with backups, audits, system housekeeping and other IT operational tasks.
Perform other IT duties and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the IT Manager or designated supervisor.
Job Specifications
Qualifications and Experience
Diploma, Higher NITEC, NITEC or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
Relevant desktop, helpdesk or end-user support experience is preferred. Fresh graduates with suitable technical training or internship experience may be considered.
Experience in a customer-facing, hospitality, club, retail or multi-site operational environment is advantageous.
Technical Knowledge:
Working knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications.
Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams and SharePoint is advantageous.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Wi-Fi, LAN connectivity and printer troubleshooting.
Ability to diagnose common hardware, software, account, access and connectivity issues.
