Position Summary
ReadyLIFT is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to support our manufacturing operations in Ogden, Utah. This position is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used to manufacture high-quality suspension and automotive components.
The Senior CNC Programmer will work closely with machinists, engineering, quality, and production leadership to improve machining processes, troubleshoot production issues, reduce cycle times, and ensure parts consistently meet engineering specifications and quality standards.
This is a hands-on senior-level position requiring strong CNC programming knowledge, machining experience, problem-solving skills, and the ability to support and mentor CNC machinists and less-experienced programmers.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, modify, test, and optimize CNC programs for mills and lathes.

Program CNC equipment using CAM software and manual G-code programming when necessary.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, models, and manufacturing specifications.

Determine appropriate tooling, workholding, cutting parameters, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies.

Create efficient machining processes that improve productivity while maintaining part quality.

Perform program prove-outs and assist with new part and new product introductions.

Troubleshoot CNC programs, tooling, machine setup, workholding, and dimensional issues.

Optimize existing programs to reduce cycle times, improve tool life, and minimize scrap and rework.

Work closely with Engineering to ensure designs can be manufactured efficiently and consistently.

Collaborate with Quality to resolve dimensional or process-related issues and implement corrective actions.

Support CNC machinists with setups, offsets, tooling, program adjustments, and production troubleshooting.

Develop and maintain setup sheets, tooling documentation, program revisions, and other manufacturing documentation.

Maintain proper CNC program revision control and ensure current programs are available on the production floor.

Identify opportunities for improved fixtures, tooling, automation, and machining processes.

Assist with fixture design and workholding solutions for new and existing products.

Mentor and provide technical guidance to CNC programmers, machinists, and operators.

Help establish machining best practices and standardized processes throughout the department.

Support preventative maintenance and proper operation of CNC equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.

Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing policies.

Perform other duties as assigned to support production and manufacturing operations.
