A six-month fixed-term Digital Business Analyst role supporting an organisation's ERP system after go-live in Canterbury. Salary: Annualised salary pro-rated
Six-month fixed term | Canterbury | pro-rated annual salary
We are after a hands-on Digital Business Analyst to help an organisation get the most from its ERP system following go-live.
Working across several modules, you’ll help teams resolve issues, clarify requirements and improve how the system supports their day-to-day work. This role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, understanding what’s causing a problem and working with the right people to get it resolved.
The opportunity
Your focus will be on post-go-live support and ongoing improvement. You’ll work closely with business users, technical teams and vendors to understand what is happening in practice, identify where processes or system behaviour need attention, and help move issues through to resolution.
You’ll be comfortable working through competing priorities and differing views, asking clear questions and keeping stakeholders informed.
Your work will include:
Investigating ERP issues and understanding their impact on business users.
Gathering and documenting requirements across multiple modules.
Mapping existing processes and identifying practical improvements.
Working with stakeholders and vendors to clarify problems, agree actions and follow through.
Supporting testing and validation of fixes and enhancements.
Producing clear documentation and helping users understand system or process changes.
What you’ll bring
You’ll have solid business analysis experience, general ERP knowledge and experience supporting an organisation after go-live. There’s no requirement to specialise in a particular ERP product or module; we’re interested in how you apply your skills to live business problems.
We’re looking for someone with:
Hands-on experience in ERP post-go-live support, stabilisation or ongoing improvement.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to investigating issues.
The ability to translate user concerns into clear requirements and actions.
Confidence working through disagreements and competing stakeholder needs.
Clear communication skills across business and technical audiences.
A practical approach and ownership of work through to resolution.
This is a six-month fixed-term employment opportunity, with an annualised salary pro-rated for the term.
If you enjoy working closely with users and making business systems work better, apply with your CV. Please highlight your ERP experience and the work you have personally undertaken after go-live.
