Senior Software Developer – Platform & Complex Systems

(Senior / Lead Individual Contributor – Multi‑Track Job Posting)

About This Job Posting

This job posting is designed to attract senior-level software developers, data professionals, and technical specialists to join Landmark, where we build and evolve platforms and complex systems operating on a global scale.

This is a technology‑first opportunity, focused on deep technical challenges related to system architecture, scalability, performance, data, and reliability — far beyond standard application development.

This is one job posting covering multiple technical tracks (roles). Candidates must select the technical track that best matches their background when applying. Mandatory application questions will guide this selection.

What You Will Work On

Depending on your selected technical track, you will:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain complex software platforms and systems
• Work on large-scale, distributed, and performance-sensitive applications
• Contribute to system architecture and technical decision-making
• Build and integrate services using APIs, microservices, and complex data flows
• Improve performance, scalability, security, and reliability
• Apply modern engineering practices including CI/CD, automation, cloud, and Agile
• Collaborate with global, cross-functional teams
• Act as a senior technical contributor or lead individual contributor
• Continuously expand your technical skills and system-level expertise

• Performance-critical and system-level applications
• Object‑oriented design and low-level problem solving
• Integration with databases, APIs, and external services
• Working with complex legacy and modernized systems

Track 4 – Technical Developer – Quality, Validation & System Behavior

For technically strong profiles focused on system correctness and reliability.

Typical focus areas:

• Validation and quality assurance of complex software or data-driven systems
• Designing test strategies for advanced platforms and workflows
• Understanding system behavior, edge cases, and failure scenarios
• Partnering closely with developers to improve system robustness

This is not traditional manual QA. It suits developers or technical specialists who enjoy deep system understanding and validation.

What We Are Looking For (Across All Tracks)

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in:
• Computer Science
• Software, Systems, or Engineering disciplines
• Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related fields
• 7+ years of professional experience in software development or technical roles
• Strong foundations in problem solving, system design, and software fundamentals
• Experience working on complex, non-trivial systems
• Ability to collaborate effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams
• Good communication skills in English
• Motivation to grow as a senior or lead individual contributor

Job titles and academic backgrounds may vary — what matters is deep technical experience, system-level thinking, and alignment with one of the defined technical tracks.

Why Join Landmark
