A BI & Data Analyst in Belfast (hybrid) joins a growing organisation's Data & Systems function, owning business reporting and insight — building Power BI dashboards, data models and SQL-based reporting across CRM (Dynamics 365), ERP, finance and operational systems for stakeholders company-wide.
BI & Data Analyst
An established and growing organisation is investing heavily in its data, systems and technology capabilities and is looking for a BI & Data Analyst to join its Data & Systems function in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for a BI & Data Analyst with 2-4 years' experience to take ownership of business reporting and insight, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Business Development, Operations and Management. The role would suit a BI & Data Analyst who enjoys turning complex data into clear, trusted and actionable business insight.
The organisation is entering an important period of investment and transformation across its data, systems and technology infrastructure.
A key focus is creating a more joined-up and trusted view of business information, ensuring teams have access to consistent and reliable data.
The wider Data & Systems function will support initiatives across Microsoft Dynamics 365, finance and ERP systems, operational systems, contract management, reporting, integration and automation.
As a BI & Data Analyst, you'll play an important role in developing reporting and insight while helping teams across the business make better use of their data.
You'll ideally have 2-4 years' experience in a BI, Data, Reporting or Power BI Analyst role, with strong practical experience developing reports and dashboards.
You'll ideally have experience with:
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure or other modern Microsoft data technologies would be advantageous but isn't essential.
Most importantly, you'll want to understand the business problem behind the data, rather than simply producing dashboards from a set of requirements.
This is a great opportunity for a BI & Data Analyst looking to take the next step in their career.
Rather than being purely focused on reporting, you'll gain exposure to a wider business transformation programme, working across CRM, ERP, finance, operational and contract management systems.
You'll have the opportunity to develop your technical skills while becoming more involved in stakeholder engagement, data quality, business analysis and wider data strategy.
The wider objective is to give the organisation a trusted and consistent view of its information across systems and departments.
This role would suit someone who is technically confident, enjoys working with people and wants their BI and data skills to have a genuine impact on how a business operates.
