About Us
Liquidnitro Games is a game development
company built to create, launch, and scale ambitious games for a global
audience.
Founded by industry veterans with deep
experience across free-to-play, live services, and large-scale game production
agnostic of platforms, we bring together product thinking, design craft,
engineering depth, art execution, data, and live operations under one roof.
We build games from the ground up, take new
ideas from 0 to 1, and work with select partners to strengthen, scale, and
operate high-quality game experiences. Our teams combine creative ownership
with production discipline, helping projects move from early prototypes to
validated products, and from launch to long-term growth.
At Liquidnitro, we are building the next
generation of game teams, products, and tools from India for the global games
industry.
The Role
We are looking for an Associate Product
Manager to join a team operating and growing a live game.
This role sits at the intersection of
players, product, data, design, and live operations. You will help understand
how players engage with the game, identify opportunities to improve the
experience, and work with cross-functional teams to turn those insights into
product changes, features, events, and experiments.
You should be comfortable moving between
data and gameplay, understanding both what the numbers are telling us and what
is happening inside the game. The goal is not just to report performance, but
to understand why players behave the way they do and what we should do next.
Responsibilities
- Analyse player behaviour across
retention, engagement, progression, monetization, and live events.
- Build a strong understanding of the
game's core loop, progression systems, economy, content, and player segments.
- Identify product opportunities and
translate them into clear hypotheses and recommendations.
- Work closely with Product Management,
Game Design, Analytics, Production, Engineering, and other cross functional
teams to improve the game.
- Support the design and evaluation of
features, events, offers, progression changes, and monetization initiatives.
- Define success metrics for product
changes and evaluate performance after launch.
- Design and analyse A/B tests and other
experiments.
- Use cohort and segmentation analysis to
understand differences in player behaviour.
- Investigate changes in KPIs and identify
the underlying causes rather than stopping at surface-level reporting.
- Review the performance of live events and
features and recommend changes based on player behaviour and outcomes.
- Track competitive games, market trends,
and relevant product mechanics.
- Contribute to product roadmap and
live-ops planning based on player needs, game performance, and business
priorities.
- Communicate insights and recommendations
clearly to both product and development teams.
What We’re Looking For
- 1-3 years of experience in product
management – preferably in gaming or consumer related products.
- Strong analytical and structured
problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with data and convert
analysis into actionable product decisions.
- Understanding of free-to-play game
metrics such as retention, engagement, conversion, ARPDAU, and LTV.
- Strong interest in games and a good
instinct for player experience.
- Ability to think in hypotheses, test
assumptions, and measure outcomes.
- Comfortable working across multiple
disciplines and communicating with both creative and technical teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication
skills.
- High attention to detail and curiosity
about why systems and players behave the way they do.
Good to Have
- Experience working on a live mobile or
free-to-play game.
- Working knowledge of SQL and BI or
analytics tools.
- Experience with A/B testing, cohort
analysis, and player segmentation.
- Understanding of game economies,
progression systems, rewards, and monetization.
What Success Looks Like
You are able to move beyond reporting that
a metric changed and explain why it changed, which players were affected, what
part of the game caused it, and what we should do next.
Over time, you should develop enough
understanding of the game and its players to independently identify product
opportunities, build a case for them using data and player insight, and help
drive them from hypothesis through implementation and measurement.
