- Codebase Experience: Proven ability to work effectively across both established production codebases and greenfield projects.
- Engineering Judgment: Strong technical judgment and the ability to make sound decisions while operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.
- Complex Systems: Comfortable understanding and improving systems involving intricate business rules, data relationships, and operational workflows.
- Relevant Domain Experience: Experience with reservation, scheduling, payment, or financial systems is a strong advantage, particularly where accuracy and complex business rules are critical.
Benefits
- Compensation: $60,000–$96,000 annually.
- Remote Work: Fully remote position available to professionals based in Brazil or Argentina.
- Full-Time Role: Full-time employment within the Engineering function.
- Technical Ownership: Opportunity to make architectural decisions that directly shape the evolution of the platform.
- Broad Technical Scope: Work across frontend, backend, APIs, databases, data modeling, payments, accounting, and complex operational workflows.
- Greenfield & Modernization: Gain hands-on experience balancing the challenges of modernizing an established production system with building new products from 0 to 1.
- Small Engineering Team: Join a two-person engineering environment offering substantial ownership, autonomy, and influence over technical direction.
- Complex Problem Solving: Work on challenging systems where availability, pricing, conflicts, cancellations, financial correctness, and business rules intersect.
