IAG is hiring a permanent Analytics Engineer in Sydney to build and maintain enterprise data pipelines and models powering reporting, analytics and AI-enabled solutions during a large-scale data transformation. Core tech includes SQL, BigQuery, dbt and CI/CD-enabled engineering practices.

Play a hands-on role in building and maintaining the data foundations that power trusted reporting across the business. As an Analytics Engineer supporting Intermediate Insurance Australia’s large-scale enterprise data transformation, you'll focus on designing and delivering robust enhancement to the data pipelines and models that serve reporting, AI-enabled solutions and downstream analytics needs. You'll turn complex source data into well-structured, reliable data products and leverage modern AI assisted engineering practices to improve productivity, quality and delivery outcomes. This is a build-focused role for someone who enjoys shaping data flows, understanding how data fits together, and making sure data is ready to be used with confidence for reporting, analytics and emerging AI use cases.
This is a permanent role based in Gadigal Country (Darling Park 2, Sydney).
