About the Team:
The Listing Quality Control (QC) team ensures that every item listed on Shopee is compliant, safe and trustworthy for hundreds of millions of users across regions. We are a dynamic, adaptive and innovation-driven team, rebuilding the end-to-end item QC lifecycle with AI: from LLM-powered detection, to agent-assisted review, to seller appeals. Across each stage, we balance risk, efficiency and seller experience.
Job Description:
- Own the Listing QC roadmap and enhance Shopee's Governance platform across Detection, Review, Penalty and Feedback, using AI to optimise the QC detection pipeline across risk, efficiency and seller experience
- Dive into operational workflows to identify automation opportunities, and build tools at scale for local operations, including hands-on AI agent building for internal use cases and as POCs to solve real business problems
- Drive preventive risk analysis and time-sensitive incident resolution with Legal, Operations and Product teams, to keep our e-commerce ecosystem compliant with local laws and regulations
- Own the product development cycle end to end, partnering with designers, analysts, engineers and data scientists to deliver high-impact solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Applied Quantitative or equivalent; A master’s degree is advantageous but not required
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning, with data-based decision-making
- Able to independently drive tasks to completion
- Strong interest in AI/LLM applications, with hands-on experience or willingness to build with AI tools and agents
- Adaptable and open-minded, able to thrive in dynamic environments
