Saipem in Milan, a global leader in engineering and construction for energy and infrastructure, is seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to join the AI LAB and help drive the energy transition.
You will design, manage and deploy intelligent workflows that automate IT and business processes, integrating AI models, task orchestration and enterprise systems.
Hybrid work, permanent contract, salary not lower than 38,000 €. Italian and English required, 1–3 years in software or automation.
Analyze processes and identify AI automation opportunities. Design multi-step and agentic AI workflows and integrate them with enterprise systems, APIs and Azure services. Automate tasks and decision management, implementing appropriate controls and fallbacks. Monitor quality, performance and exceptions. Document solution architectures and process flows. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in software development, automation or applied AI.
