YOUTH SUPPORT WORKER

Do you want a job that's fun, flexible and genuinely makes a difference?

ABOUT THE ROLE

At Solent Youth Action, we believe every young person deserves opportunities to have fun, build confidence, develop friendships and feel part of their community no matter what their personal barriers are.

We're looking for enthusiastic, caring and reliable Youth Support Workers to join our passionate team. This is a varied and rewarding role supporting young people aged 10-25 with mild to moderate additional support needs through youth clubs, holiday schemes, supported volunteering and our Community Buddies programme.

No two days are the same. You could be supporting a young person to go bowling, watching a film at the cinema, helping run a cooking challenge, taking part in outdoor activities, facilitating games at youth club or supporting a group project at our outdoor skills centre.

We're passionate about creating opportunities for young people to try new things, build independence, make friends and have experiences that many of us take for granted. If you're someone who enjoys being active, having fun, building positive relationships and making a genuine difference, we'd love to hear from you.

WHY JOIN US?

We're not just looking for staff, we're looking for people who share our passion for helping young people thrive.

When you us, you'll become part of a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic team that genuinely enjoys what we do. We work hard, celebrate successes and create opportunities for young people to experience new activities, develop life skills and reach their potential. We also like cake.

WHAT YOU'LL GET

• Flexible work that fits around other commitments
• A fun, varied role where no two shifts are the same
• The opportunity to build meaningful relationships with young people
• Ongoing training and development opportunities
