WSHO/ Safety Officer (PUB Project)

Responsibilities:

• Manage WSH matters for MEICA and NEWater process works.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments and safety audits.
• Review Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures.
• Monitor Permit-to-Work activities and high-risk operations.
• Ensure safe installation, testing and commissioning of equipment.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings and worker inductions.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain WSH records and statutory documentation.
• Coordinate safety matters with project teams and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with WSH legislation and project safety requirements.
• Stop unsafe work and ensure corrective actions are completed.
