Location: Cleveland, OH
Onsite Requirements: Hybrid, Monday-Thursday onsite, Friday remote
Compensation Range: $60,000-75,000, 5% annual bonus potential

Position Overview
We are seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst with hands-on Workday Payroll experience to support the transition from SAP to Workday and ongoing payroll operations. This position focuses on system auditing, testing, validation, and compliance review to help ensure accurate payroll processing and alignment with legislative requirements and company policies.
The analyst will test existing functionality, validate new system enhancements and configuration changes, investigate discrepancies, and document results. This is an analyst and testing-focused position. It does not include responsibility for Workday configuration, though report-writing access may be available.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts for Workday Payroll and related time processes and integrations.
- Test existing functionality to verify compliance with legislative requirements and company policies.
- Validate new system enhancements and configuration changes to confirm they produce expected results.
- Audit payroll and time data, calculations, and outputs for accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Analyze test results, document defects, investigate root causes, and coordinate issue resolution and retesting.
- Maintain and improve the test script library to strengthen testing efficiency and coverage.
- Run and analyze reports to support payroll validation, auditing, and troubleshooting; create ad hoc reports where access permits.
- Support Payroll Processing and Tax teams in resolving system and integration issues to ensure timely, accurate payrolls.
- Prepare test evidence, reports, and supporting documentation for internal and external audits.
- Collaborate with Payroll, HR, Legal, IT, and implementation teams to identify issues and validate corrective actions.
- Document testing procedures, system behavior, findings, and resolutions.
- Assist with process documentation and Payroll team training related to system or process changes.
