• Troubleshoot PHP, JavaScript, CSS, database, theme, and plugin issues.

• Perform WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates and resolve compatibility issues.

• Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, SEO, and accessibility.

• Work with forms, AJAX, REST APIs, and third-party integrations when required.

• Perform website migrations, backups, restores, and staging-to-production updates.

• Ability to make minor design decisions and improvements independently while remaining consistent with the established visual style.

• Experience with MySQL/MariaDB.

• Experience managing WordPress websites through cPanel.

• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills.

• Understanding of responsive design, browser compatibility, website performance, SEO, and accessibility.

Who We're Looking For

You should be comfortable receiving a completed design and independently turning it into a polished, production-ready WordPress website. You should have enough visual judgment to recognize when something doesn't look right and make reasonable adjustments without requiring detailed direction for every spacing, sizing, color, or responsive-design decision. You should also be able to open an unfamiliar custom theme or plugin, understand how it works, troubleshoot problems, and make changes without rebuilding everything from scratch.
