A hands-on, in-person Web Designer role owning the day-to-day management of a wholesale website: uploading and merchandising products, creating banners, promotional pages and landing pages, and keeping the site accurate, visually engaging and responsive across devices. Core focus is web design/UX and product content management.
Salary: £25,420 - 25,420 per year
Requirements:- Previous experience in web design or website management
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in keeping a website accurate and up to date
- Confidence managing product information and large numbers of products
- Good understanding of website merchandising
- Strong design sense and understanding of what makes a website visually appealing and easy to navigate
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with internal teams
- Strong understanding of the importance of website availability and product visibility
- Manage and maintain our wholesale website daily, ensuring products are accurately uploaded, visible and live
- Add and update products, collections and categories, including descriptions, images, pricing, specifications and availability
- Categorise, present and merchandise products to create a clear, easy-to-navigate wholesale customer experience
- Check for missing products, incorrect information, broken links and other issues, and resolve them promptly
- Remove or amend discontinued, unavailable or outdated products and keep website content accurate and current
- Create and maintain website banners, promotional content, landing pages and other visual merchandising
- Keep the website professional, visually engaging, responsive and user-friendly across desktop, tablet and mobile
- Monitor the overall website experience and identify opportunities to improve navigation, product presentation and the customer journey
