We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Warranty Administrative Support Specialist to join our Carroll, Iowa team. This position reports to the Warranty Administrator and is responsible for ensuring that warranty registrations and claims are processed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies.
Your Role in Our Mission:
- Receive, review and process a high volume of warranty registrations and warranty claims in a timely manner, under direction of the Warranty Administrator.
- Monitor incoming registrations and claims for accuracy and maintain record of claims within our company ERP system.
- Assist with tracking warranty trends that will help with product/quality improvement.
- Communicate with distributors and vendors on status of outstanding claims.
- Communicate with customers and distributors regarding warranty claim outcomes.
- Provide excellent customer service by listening intently, demonstrating problem solving techniques, and maintaining the company’s integrity through verbal and electronic communication.
To Perform this Job Successfully:
- At least one year of administrative experience, including data entry, is preferred.
- Proficient in computer use and typing, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with a willingness to learn and navigate the company’s ERP system.
- Mechanical aptitude is not required, but basic mechanical knowledge is highly beneficial.
- Ability to perform assigned duties efficiently, competently, and independently.
- Ability to interact professionally with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the company.
- Basic customer service skills with strong phone and email etiquette.
