The Warehouse Technician position is responsible for accurately receiving shipments, picking orders, shipping paint and paint related products to our Sherwin-Williams customers, and other duties as assigned. Schedule: Night Shift: Sunday night to Friday morning, 10:00pm to 6:30am
This position is also eligible for a bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company’s applicable plans.
Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and vendors.
- Picking and shipping accurate/quality products to our customers in a timely efficient manner.
- Case picking must maintain at least one category on productivity levels currently uptime. 5.5 hours in case picking.
- All orders picked must be 100% accurate and in quality condition.
- Participation towards completion of other related tasks and work duties as directed
Minimum Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country for which you are applying for employment without now or in the future needing sponsorship for employment visa status
Preferred Qualifications
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience working as a picker or packer in a warehouse or distribution environment
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating a stationary power equipment such as palletizers, conveyors, hoists, and stackers, mills or farm/construction equipment
- Have at least one (1) year of work experience operating mobile power equipment such as lift trucks, tow motors or pallet handling equipment, order pickers, high lifts, forklifts, or cherry pickers
